Indication

Analgesic immobilisation of the shoulder and forearm following

• Ligamentel injuries without surgical intervention of the shoulder or elbow (e.g. luxations and spraisn)
• Fracture of the tuberculus major, the caput humeri, tuberculum minor (without surgical intervention)
• Acute frozen shoulder
• Paralyis of the plexus bracialis
• Non-operated rotator cuff rupture
• Rehabilitation.

Fitting Instructions in 8 steps

In order to ease the fitting it is neccessary to keep the numers on the belt and the colors gray and black in the right order

For the left shoulder

1. Place the product flat on a surface with the gray seam of the cushioning visible on the upside
2. Fold the ends of the 5 straps backwards so that the black part of the velcro fasteners will be covers
3. Fasten the surface with the gray velcro fasteners of the strap with the indication LEFT/GAUCHE 1 on the other strap with the indication LEFT/GAUCHE 1
4. Place the cushioning on the shoulder with the gray seam visible to the outside
5. Place the arm in a right angle in the brace. Support the lower part of the arm (as indicated with the arrow) by putting it up. Fasten this strap on shoulder height.
6. Bring the strap LEFT/GAUCHE 2 to the front and fasten it to 2 points (as indicated with the arrors on the drawing)
7. Take now the strap LEFT/GAUCHE 4 and fold it around the forearm to block the elbow
8. Take the LEFT/GAUCHE 1 which you prepared in Step 3, and bring it to the front of the body to secure it to the strap above the elbow.

For the right shoulder

1. Place the product flat on a surface with the gray seam of the cushioning visible on the upside
2. Fold the ends of the 5 straps backwards so that the black part of the velcro fasteners will be covers
3. Fasten the surface with the black velcro fasteners of the strap with the indication RIGHT/DROIT 1 on the other strap with the indication RIGHT/DROIT 1
4. Place the cushioning on the shoulder with the gray seam visible to the outside
5. Place the arm in a right angle in the brace. Support the lower part of the arm (as indicated with the arrow) by putting it up. Fasten this strap on shoulder height.
6. Bring the strap RIGHT/DROIT 2 to the front and fasten it to 2 points (as indicated with the arrors on the drawing)
7. Take now the strap RIGHT/DROIT 4 and fold it around the forearm to block the elbow
8. Take the RIGHT/DROIT 1 which you prepared in Step 3, and bring it to the front of the body to secure it to the strap above the elbow

• Don't hesitate to adjust the fastening and fitting a few times until the optimum immobilisation is reached

• Store at room temperature preferably in original packaging
• Re-use of this device for the treatment of another patient is strictly due to hygiene and performance-related problems. If a decision is taken to re-use this device, than the person taking the decision is solely responsible and the Thuasne warranty will automatically become void

Washing Instructions

• Wash only in soapy water
• Do not use detergent or bleech
• Squeeze out excess water
• Dry well away from any heat source
